Lil' Swimmer

Korben's Aunt Kimmie got him a really awesome inflatable swimming pool for his birthday. I have been dying to inflate it every since we ripped the wrapping paper off of it on March 7th, but I've held myself back. Last Friday was the big day. It was 90 degrees outside, Aaron was home, and we thought it would be a perfect time for the rainforest pool to make it's debut. So I broke open the package of "Lil Swimmers" diapers...just because I couldn't wait to see what he looked like in them. Aaron started to fill up the pool. Our little boy LOVES baths, so we just knew he would love the idea of a pool. After a few minutes of standing in the water,he started crying. To our surprise, the water that was coming out of the water hose was freezing cold. So, Aaron starting boiling pots of hot water to dump into the pool to get it to a bearable temperature (Don't worry, Korben was swinging at the time!). Our pest control guy came by around this time, and said liked our "hillbilly bubble bath" idea. After about 30 minutes of temperature regulation, we thought it was ready. Aaron decided he would get in the pool so Korben would feel more comfortable with getting in. He liked it for about 60 seconds and then he wanted out. Poor Daddy, left in the pool all alone. Aaron and I had a good chuckle because the visual of Korben playing with a blade of grass while Aaron sat in the kiddie pool was hilarious.

Lil' Swimmers

Look how big he looks in that swing!

When he thought he liked the pool.

He wasn't sure if he liked it or not.

When he KNEW he did not like the pool!

Don't worry, we will try this again later!
